Admissions Process

We are only as successful as our graduates, and we start by finding the best and most committed students. Our trained team of admissions representatives will help you understand yourself, visualize your dreams, and map your career.

During your informational meeting, we will help you find the associate’s degree or bachelor’s degree program that best fits your interests. We will also take you on a tour of the school, show you our unique and fun learning methodology — Professional Action Learning (“PAL”) — and discuss how easy it is to apply for financial aid. You will also discover how you can complete your education training in as few as 15 months or less and, most importantly, what job opportunities exist for Fremont College graduates. Our admissions representatives are trained to assist students like you to find the right program and course schedule.

Admission Requirements

Applying to School Has Never Been Easier. Below are admissions requirements to enroll in a higher education degree at Fremont College:

An initial interview with a Fremont College Admissions Representative
High school diploma or equivalent (GED certificate).
A letter of recommendation
An entrance essay
A completed Fremont College Admissions Application and Enrollment Agreement
A passing score on the Wonderlic SLE or Career Programs Assessment Test (CPAT)
A passing score on the Paralegal program admissions test for paralegal applicants
An acceptance interview conducted by a designated School Official

Many students who discontinue study without earning a bachelor’s degree later discover that it is difficult to find a promising career path or advance in an existing career without a bachelor’s degree. Those who are working, have moved away from the college they were studying at or have obligations that make it difficult to return to a traditional classroom setting will find that the bachelor’s degree completion program is the perfect alternative approach to degree completion.

What is the degree completion program?

The degree completion program is an alternative for those who didn’t finish college and want to go back to school to earn a bachelor’s degree in the quickest, most affordable way possible.

How does the degree completion program work?

The bachelor’s degree completion program allows students to complete a degree they have already started by transferring previously-earned college credits to be applied toward a bachelor’s degree. The program allows students to accelerate their degree timeline and earn a bachelor’s degree in a short amount of time. The degree completion program is open to returning Fremont College students who have obtained an associate degree, as well as students who obtained college credits or an associate degree at a community college or other school and want to pursue a bachelor’s degree.

Which programs are available in the degree completion program?

Currently, Fremont College offers the bachelor’s degree completion program through the College of Healthcare and the College of Business. Students can apply their previously-earned college credits toward a bachelor’s degree in Business Leadership. The Business Leadership programs were chosen for the degree completion program because both degree programs prepare students for careers in in-demand fields.

How long does it take to earn a bachelor’s degree in the degree completion program

It takes just 15 months to earn a bachelor’s degree in the degree completion program at Fremont College. The accelerated program is designed to provide students with hands-on training and practical knowledge in the shortest time possible so they can begin working in their field without spending years in school.

Do I qualify for the degree completion program?

To be admitted into the degree completion program, you will need a minimum number of college credits. If you’re not sure how many credits you have, we can prepare a transcript evaluation to determine if you’re ready to begin the program. The process is simple and fast, allowing you to earn a bachelor’s degree in a little over one year giving you an edge in today’s competitive workforce.
